Mantle Aperture

This is a sidesplit open ring aperture which accepts A3D Colour Cores and A3D Pinpoint Cores. When used without a Core the Micro has an inner diameter of 9.5mm, and the Macro has an inner diameter of 15mm.

One side of the aperture has a tapered inside edge and a small tactile bump. This is the side through which Cores should be inserted and removed.

The aperture includes one "blank" Core. This is simple open tunnel with 0.5mm walls (inner diameter 1mm less than the Mantle diameter). This can be used to slightly narrow the inner diameter of the Mantle, as well as provide a small amount of structural support to the aperture by providing the same expansion tension that a proper insert produces when installed. The included Core matches the colour of the Mantle itself.

Comes installed on a 3" #8-32 threaded rod.
